Members of the Kyiv-based art collective INTROVADERS created a video featuring journalist Dmitry Gordon and put it up for sale as an NFT.
The art titled GORDONITIGATION is listed on the Rarible marketplace. Its starting price is 0.8 WETH (over $1,900 at the time of writing).
“The mighty Dmitry Gordon disintegrates his enemies and nothing else,” the token description says.
The artists attributed attention to Gordon to his ‘hype’.
“His statements are parsed into quotes and memes that go viral. His own newspaper, a line of branded clothing, a video blog and finally candies ‘Gordon in chocolate’ – all of this each time causes a stir,” said INTROVADERS.
The artists see digitalisation of art as inevitable.
“The world is moving into the digital realm, and we must not dispute that,” they added.
Dmitry Gordon did not respond to ForkLog.
