Ledger launches NFT marketplace and Web3 services platform for enterprises

Hardware wallet maker Ledger announced the launch of an NFT marketplace and a Web3 services platform aimed at enterprises.

Representatives of the company disclosed details during the Ledger Op3n conference as part of NFT.NYC, the NFT-focused event.

Dubbed Ledger Market, the marketplace prioritises security and transparency. According to the company’s CEO Pascal Gauthier, the solution will address issues that have arisen in the wake of innovation, shielding traders from fraud.

At the initial stage, Ledger Market will list the NFT collections Deadphellaz and Brick/Babylon. The marketplace’s partner will be watchmaker Tag Heuer, part of the LVMH group.

Ledger also launched Ledger Enterprise Create — a platform that will enable companies to scale their Web3 projects and securely transition into the non-fungible token space.

“We will support creators and brands along the entire NFT journey, ensuring security—from token issuance to distribution,” explained Gauthier.

During Ledger Op3n, the firm also announced Ledger Quest — Web3 games with NFT rewards, and Ledger Academy — an educational platform to broaden users’ knowledge of blockchain technologies and security matters.

In April 2022, the firm представила a new device—the Nano S Plus, aimed at NFT collectors and DeFi users.

Earlier, Ledger partnered with The Sandbox to raise literacy among its users in the cryptocurrency space.

In June, the company, in partnership with Cathay Innovation launched a fund of €100 million to invest in Web 3.0 startups.
