Media: Goldman Sachs to offer Ethereum-based futures and options to clients.

The investment bank Goldman Sachs plans to launch trading of Ethereum-based futures and options. Bloomberg, citing the head of the digital assets division of the financial conglomerate Matthew McDermott, reported this.

In the future, Goldman Sachs also plans to offer Bitcoin-based exchange-traded notes to clients. According to McDermott, the launch of the new instruments is driven by demand from the firm’s clients.

“Institutional adoption will continue. Despite a substantial price correction, we still see strong interest in this field,” the executive said.

In May, Goldman Sachs offered clients non-deliverable bitcoin forwards.
