Media reports Ledger plans to raise at least $100 million

Hardware wallet maker Ledger is in talks to raise at least $100 million in a funding round, Bloomberg reports, citing anonymous sources.

They say the company intends to weather the crypto winter and boost its valuation. A Ledger spokesperson declined to comment.

\n\n

In June 2021, the hardware-wallet maker raised $380 million as part of a Series C financing round. The company was valued at more than $1.5 billion.

\n\n

In spring 2022 the firm представила a new device — the Nano S Plus, aimed at NFT collectors and DeFi users.

\n\n

Earlier, Ledger заключил соглашение с проектом The Sandbox to improve the literacy of its users in the cryptocurrency space.
