Meta Platforms, Inc. has expanded its pilot project to integrate non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Facebook social network.

“[…] we have given people the ability to publish digital collectibles they own, on Facebook as well as Instagram,” the statement said.
According to the company, this will allow users to connect their digital wallet to either app to share NFTs.
In May, Meta launched a pilot project to integrate NFTs on Instagram. Selected users were allowed to set non-fungible tokens as profile pictures.
In August, the initiative was expanded to an additional 100 countries.
