MetaMask will be integrated with the Coinbase Pay service, which allows buying cryptocurrencies with bank cards and funding a non-custodial wallet from an exchange account.

Coinbase introduced the service in March 2022. The wallet will be the first third-party decentralised application to connect to the platform. Coinbase Wallet and Coinbase NFT are already compatible with it.
The integration will be rolled out in the coming weeks. In the first phase, Coinbase Pay will be added to the MetaMask extension for desktop browsers.
Earlier in April 2022, MetaMask added the ability to buy cryptocurrency with fiat via MoonPay.
