Earlier, the tech giant launched a dedicated site for the tool and integrated it into Bing’s chatbot. Now Image Creator is available from the browser’s app sidebar to a much wider audience, the company said.
To use the generator, open the corresponding window, enter a prompt, and wait for the result. Image Creator will generate four variants, which you can download and use as you see fit.
Microsoft described the feature as a way to create “very specific” visual effects when users are working with social media or presentations. The tool was available previously as well; the browser integration will make image creation easier for most users, the company said.
For now the new feature must be activated manually. Open the sidebar, press the ‘+’ button, and toggle the switch next to Image Creator.
In March, Microsoft introduced a preliminary version of the image generator.
In February, the tech giant released an updated Bing based on ChatGPT.
