Mining-equipment thief identified in Irkutsk Oblast after half-million-ruble theft

Law-enforcement authorities in Irkutsk Oblast have located a suspect who stole mining equipment. The local МВД reports this.

The owner had set up a mining farm in a metal container, which the thief accessed. The total value of the stolen equipment amounted to half a million rubles.

The suspect was identified and the stolen equipment was seized during a search. Authorities have opened a criminal case for large-scale theft.

Earlier in Voronezh region, arrested two suspects in a case of theft of funds under the pretext of selling mining equipment.
