Mining farm uncovered at Kazakh railway station

Law-enforcement authorities in Kazakhstan have uncovered a facility within the railway siding at Kundyzdy station where cryptocurrency-mining equipment was installed. Local media, citing police representatives, сообщают.

During the inspection, police found and confiscated 130 boxes of mining equipment.

An investigation is under way.

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to identify all mining farms and raise the tax on cryptocurrency mining.
