The Moody’s Investors Service posted a cryptocurrency analyst vacancy to examine the “potentially wide-ranging impact of decentralized finance (DeFi) on the existing ecosystem.”
According to the description, the vacancy is open in several cities: New York, Frankfurt, London, and Paris. Candidates are expected to understand blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency industry, including DeFi, stablecoins, CBDC and NFT.
The successful candidate will work with Moody’s analysts “to classify the traditional credit-analysis methodology and determine ways to integrate with the crypto-asset valuation system.”
Moody’s Investors Service is part of the ‘Big Three’ of international rating agencies, alongside Standard & Poor’s and Fitch Group. It assigns credit ratings, conducts research and risk analysis.
Earlier in September, the $1.4 trillion asset manager Franklin Templeton posted cryptocurrency-related vacancies — for a crypto analyst and a trader.
