“I’m just getting started in the crypto game… Do you have any advice?”, the athlete wrote.
Several well-known figures in the crypto industry responded to the tweet. MicroStrategy chief Michael Saylor said he had spent a lot of time thinking about the question, “and chose Bitcoin.”
Steph, I spent more than a thousand hours considering this question and chose bitcoin. So far, I have purchased more than $3 billion in BTC because I think it’s the future of digital property. I have posted tons of free #bitcoin education on https://t.co/kZl3k7Tm4h (or DM me).

“I bought Bitcoin for more than $3 billion because I consider it the future of digital property,” wrote Saylor.
He also recommended to Curry an educational portal about Bitcoin and offered to message him for further assistance.
On August 24, the Nasdaq-listed MicroStrategy purchased additional 3,907 BTC for about $177 million. The provider’s holdings of the first cryptocurrency stood at 108 991 BTC.
The Block analyst Larry Cermak noted that he has given “free crypto consultations to a few guys from the League.” He offered Curry help in finding resources and getting started.
The Human Rights Foundation’s chief strategy officer Alex Gladstein reached out to the basketball player with the idea of making Bitcoin donations to charitable organizations. Financial columnist and crypto skeptic Frances Coppola reacted negatively.
Don’t.

“Don’t do this,” she wrote.
Curry plays for the Golden State Warriors and the United States national team. At the end of August he bought a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 55 ETH ($180,000 at the time of the deal).
Earlier, the Golden State Warriors unveiled a series of digital rings and ticket stubs in the form of non-fungible tokens.
Earlier, tennis star Naomi Osaka released her own NFT collection and showed interest in cryptocurrencies, notably Dogecoin.
