New York University to launch Web3 course in partnership with NEAR Foundation

The NYU School of Professional Studies announced in partnership with the nonprofit Near Foundation the launch of a Web3 Learning Workshop course.

According to the press release, the three-day program will introduce students, alumni, faculty, and industry partners to the core technologies and practical tools of the Web3 sector.

\n\n

The course will also cover blockchain, digital assets, and their use in the sports industry. It will be taught by Michael Kelly, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Open Forest Protocol.

\n\n

Graduates of the course will receive rewards in the form of non-fungible tokens by the end of 2023 through a Near Protocol-based decentralised application.

\n\n

Earlier in 2023, Texas A&M University launched an educational program devoted to Bitcoin.

\n\n

Earlier, CoinGecko released the book “How to NFT” in English.

\n\n

In October 2022, 1inch and fintech company Revolut launched the educational course “Learn and Earn” for DeFi novices.
