NFL star Rob Gronkowski sold his own collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for 830 ETH — about $1.5 million at the time of writing.
Black Madre Studio developed five digital trading cards commemorating four Super Bowls and key milestones in Gronkowski’s career. The auction took place on the OpenSea marketplace from March 11 to 13.
The priciest NFT trading card was the “Career Highlight Refractor Card”. It sold at auction for 232 ETH (over $400,000 at the time of writing).

Earlier, former DC Comics artist Jose Delbo earned $1.85 million from selling a Wonder Woman NFT. In a statement called on to abandon the sale of NFTs due to copyright infringement.
In March, an NFT copy of Banksy’s burnt artwork titled «Morons» sold for 228.69 ETH. Christie’s sold Beeple’s painting titled “Everydays: The First 5000 Days” for a record $69.3 million.
Earlier, billionaire Mark Cuban put up for sale one of his motivational quotes in NFT form. In February he predicted the growth of the NFT market over the next decade.
