
NFT marketplace Async Art raises over $2 million in funding

The seed round was led by investment firm Lemniscap. It also saw participation from Galaxy Interactive, Signum Growth Capital, Semantic and Placeholder.

Co-founder Lisa Liang of Async Art told The Block that the funds will be used to scale the platform and expand the team.
\n
“The NFT industry is thriving. Digital artists can monetise their works, and investors can diversify risks in scarce assets,” said a senior executive.

In February, the cryptocurrency wallet provider Blockchain.com raised $120 million in a funding round with the participation of Google Ventures.
