NFT marketplace Magic Eden to add Ethereum support

Magic Eden, the Solana-based non-fungible token marketplace, announced support for Ethereum.

The integration is due to be completed in the coming weeks, The Block reports.

By leveraging the cross-chain Launchpad solution, users will be able to issue NFTs using Solana or Ethereum. The first project to support the new functionality will be EZU by Voltura.

In a conversation with CoinDesk, the platform’s developers said that in the long term they plan to support two more blockchains.

In June, Magic Eden attracted $130 million in a Series B financing round led by Electric Capital and Greylock Partners.

In March, NFT marketplace raised $27 million, closing a Series A round.
