The non-fungible token (NFT) platform OpenSea closed a Series C financing round worth $300 million. It was led by Paradigm and Coatue.

OpenSea’s valuation reached $13.3 billion.
The funds will be used to improve customer service, hire staff, develop products, and grow the community.
OpenSea chief Devin Finzer announced the launch of a grant programme to support developers and content creators to popularise the NFT ecosystem.
In March 2021, OpenSea raised $23 million, and in July closed a Series B financing round worth $100 million.
In August, the platform’s trading volume surpassed $3 billion.
