Nifty’s platform to release NFTs for The Matrix Resurrections film

Nifty’s, a social media platform, in partnership with Warner Bros., will release non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for the film The Matrix Resurrections.

On 11/30, collect your Matrix avatars exclusively on Nifty’s. Created by Nifty’s and @warnerbros, and made using Epic Games’ MetaHuman Creator, these NFTs bring to life this iconic franchise in a whole new way.

According to Variety, the collection comprises 100,000 unique avatars of characters living in The Matrix, but not the film’s main protagonists.

Sales are set to begin on November 30, with each token priced at $50.

On December 16, NFT holders will be offered a choice: take the blue pill or the red pill, to keep their character in The Matrix or turn them into a Resistance fighter, respectively.

It remains unclear how exactly the characters will be altered.

Earlier in July, Nifty’s and Warner Bros. released NFTs for the film “Space Jam: A New Legacy”.
