
Nike nets $185m from NFT sales
Fashion brands Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany, Gucci, Adidas and Nike collectively earned $260 million from NFT sales.

Half of Nike’s $185.3 million NFT revenue came from royalties on secondary sales, which totaled $1.29 billion. The other half of the revenue came from primary sales.
CloneX and MNLTH top Nike’s NFT collections by royalties, at $39.9 million and $24.2 million, respectively.

In July the company received 6,362 ETH from its NFT-related arm. The record was April (12,776 ETH).

For other brands, revenue is led by primary sales. The Nike-following positions were D&G ($25.7 million), Tiffany ($12.6 million), Gucci ($11.6 million) and Adidas ($10.9 million).
Also in the Dune Analytics dashboard were Budweiser, Time Magazine, Bud Light, AO, Lacoste, Nickelodeon, McLaren and Pepsi.
“Some are drawn to the opportunity to forge deeper connections with their fans, others are interested in maximizing revenue through NFT drops and merchandising,” — explained by NFTGators.
As reported in December 2021, Nike acquired the NFT studio RTFKT, which focuses on creating collectibles for the metaverses. In April the company unveiled its first joint NFT collection.
