Nike to unveil its own Web3 platform, .Swoosh.

Nike, the sportswear brand, announced the creation of a Web3 platform, .Swoosh.

With it, the company plans to promote virtual footwear and other goods for metaverses.

Currently, .Swoosh is in beta testing. The release of the first collection is expected next year.

According to the company, community members will soon be able to wear these items in digital and immersive games.

In December 2021, Nike acquired the NFT studio RTFKT, which specializes in creating collectibles for the metaverses. In April, the company presented the first joint NFT collection.

By the end of August, Nike earned $185 million from NFT sales.
