The cryptocurrency exchange OKX will list the meme token Hamster Kombat (HMSTR). Representatives of the platform informed ForkLog about this development.
Spot market trading will commence on September 26. On this date, the project team has scheduled a TGE and an airdrop of HMSTR.
The initial distribution of the coin was planned for July but was subsequently postponed. The team cited technical difficulties that made it impossible to predict the exact date of the event.
In August, the token appeared on OKX’s pre-market futures platform. In July, Bybit opened the pre-market for HMSTR, following an announcement by KuCoin. However, the start of trading was repeatedly delayed.
The criteria for the Hamster Kombat airdrop were revealed in early August. According to the project’s white paper, 60% of the total issued HMSTR tokens are intended for players. The creators of the clicker game have expressed their intention to build an ecosystem of interconnected games and services.
Earlier, the clicker game received support from Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who announced the imminent release of the project’s token on the TON blockchain. In August, journalists reported on corporate issues within Hamster Kombat.
