OKX bitcoin exchange becomes Manchester City partner

The reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, have signed a multi-year partnership with cryptocurrency exchange OKX (formerly OKEx).

The parties did not disclose financial terms. According to Forbes, the deal is a multimillion-dollar sum per year.

As part of the partnership, the OKX brand will appear on the club’s men’s and women’s first-team kits, the Etihad Stadium, the academy’s arena, and at esports events.

Earlier, Manchester City refused the announced collaboration with the crypto project 3Key, as the public raised a number of questions about the prospective partner.

Earlier in January, rival club Manchester United signed a multi-year deal with the blockchain project Tezos.
