OKX restricts services for Russian citizens

On 19 June, the cryptocurrency exchange OKX внесла изменения в обслуживание граждан России, restricting their access to a number of products.

Verified users from Russia will no longer be able to access Earn product offers with an annual yield above 99%, as well as Shark Fin and “Double Investments” structured products.

The platform representatives explained the decision as “the requirements of Russian regulators”.

“If these offers are no longer available to you, your previous subscriptions will be automatically terminated on the maturity date. You may also terminate them early if the product provides for early redemption,” they added.

All other products and services are available as usual.

Earlier in June, OKX conducted its twentieth buyback and burn procedure of native tokens.
