OpenAI unveils an enhanced enterprise version of ChatGPT
OpenAI, the company led by Sam Altman, announced the launch of ChatGPT Enterprise — a faster, safer, and more powerful version of the chatbot for enterprise customers.
The tool offers unlimited access to GPT-4 with double the throughput, processing up to 32 KB of data or 24,000 words per request.
This figure is roughly four times higher than that of the standard version of the neural network.
According to the company’s statement, ChatGPT Enterprise also raises security and privacy standards. The tool does not use OpenAI data to train its language models and is SOC 2-compliant — the corporate standard for systems and organizational controls.
According to the developers, the new product was launched after “unprecedented demand” for ChatGPT. The developers noted that the chatbot is used by 80% of the Fortune 500 companies.
“[Firms] will integrate ChatGPT for clearer communication, speeding up coding tasks, quickly finding answers to complex business questions, assisting in creative work, and much more,” OpenAI emphasized.
In addition, the AI company is working on a “self-service business tool” that will be able to learn from data specific to a particular organization.
From May to June, global ChatGPT traffic fell by 10%, and the number of unique users fell by 5.7%.
In July, developers released a new plugin for the paid version of the chatbot, which can analyze data, write Python code, build charts and solve mathematical problems. The neural networks managed to debunk the Flat Earth theory.
Later, OpenAI announced the release of the ChatGPT app for Android.
