Owner of amazon.eth spurned a $1 million USDC offer.

One of OpenSea’s NFT marketplace users offered 1 million USDC for the amazon.eth domain. However, the owner ignored the deal and the offer expired.

The owner of amazon.eth purchased the domain for 33 ETH in February 2022. ­­­­According to the site, at the time of writing the best offer to buy stands at 4.7 ETH ($7,240 at the current rate).

In the collection of an unknown buyer there are 22 Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains. Among them are jeffreyjeffreybezos.eth and omozon.eth.

Another ENS domain collector fared better. The owner of the address sony.eth sold it for 48 ETH (~$74,000 at the time of writing). The deal closed six minutes after the offer was published.

According to OpenSea, the new owner holds a number of other domains, including coke.eth and nike.eth.

Earlier in July, the unknown owner of the domain 000.eth sold it on OpenSea for 300 ETH (about $316,000 at the time).

During the week from 27 June to 3 July, ENS registrations totaled 78,566. The figure was up 163.6% compared with the previous seven days.
