Rapper James Todd Smith, better known as LL Cool J, billionaire Paul Tudor Jones, former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi and SoFi chief Anthony Noto have invested in a new cryptocurrency venture fund. According to Yahoo! Finance.
The fund will be managed by Glenn Hutchins, founder of New York-based North Island Ventures; James Hutchins, co-founder of Silver Lake; and Travis Scher, vice president of the investment division at Digital Currency Group.

“We believe that cryptocurrencies offer solutions to some of the most pressing problems. Our mission is to support the world’s best entrepreneurs who are turning these solutions into reality,” said Travis Scher.
The fund’s partners include Apollo Group cofounder Josh Harris and former TD Ameritrade head Joe Moglia. To date the fund has raised $72 million and invested in Dapper Labs (known for the CryptoKitties game), Nori and Axelar.
Earlier, Paul Tudor Jones compared the purchase of bitcoin with investments in early Apple or Google.
