Phillips representatives noted that the final bid included the auction house’s commission.
Visually, “REPLICATOR” is an image of a copier placed in an office space in downtown Los Angeles. The artist used the Ethereum blockchain to create a token that encompasses seven generations. The first generation will produce six unique NFTs — one per month.
“Each subsequent generation creates one fewer work of art until it reaches the seventh generation, which will not produce new NFTs,” — according to в описании.
In April 2021 the Waves.tech ecosystem sold the digital duck ‘Perfection’ as an NFT for the highest price among such deals outside the Ethereum blockchain.
The student association previously put up for sale 46,694 tweets by former U.S. President Donald Trump as NFTs.
