Portugal’s national football team to launch fan tokens

The Portuguese Football Federation will launch fan tokens for the national team on the Chiliz blockchain platform.

In the coming days, the POR Fan Token (POR) will appear on the Socios.com platform. Token holders will gain access to exclusive events and content, a fan chat and voting, as well as AR-features.

In June, on the same platform, the Argentina national football team released 400,000 ARG Fan Token (ARG).

Earlier, the blockchain company Chiliz struck a similar partnership with football clubs Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, West Ham United, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona, Milan and the mixed martial arts league UFC.

In May, the Formula 1 teams Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo announced fan tokens on the Socios.com platform.
