Pump․fun Restores Streaming for All Users

Pump․fun developers have reopened streaming access for all platform users.

On April 4, streaming capabilities were initially granted to 5% of the audience. At that time, developers released a set of new content guidelines and moderation rules, “in line with industry standards.”

Stricter restrictions target “problematic” content, which led to the halt of live streaming on the platform in November 2024.

Many users, disappointed by the previous streaming shutdown, welcomed the return of the feature. However, some in the community were not pleased with the idea.

“Didn’t we learn from the first time? You guys are absolute ass cancer,” noted one user.

Some suggested that without “controversial” streams, promoting tokens as successfully would be difficult.

“No people harming themselves online = no pump,” concluded another commentator.

In March, the total trading volume on the DEX PumpSwap by the “meme token factory” Pump.fun exceeded $1.2 billion within a week of its launch.
