Pump.fun Announces Future Token Launch Plans

The platform for launching meme tokens, Pump.fun, on Solana, has announced plans to introduce a native token in the future. This was stated by the project team, according to The Block.

“We intend to ensure that we reward our earliest users. All earned funds are reinvested back into the platform. We want to create something as big as Binance — even bigger,” said representatives of Pump.fun during a broadcast on X Spaces.

The team did not specify even approximate timelines for the token launch.

Representatives of the platform also announced the Pump Advanced trading terminal with enhanced features for advanced users and 0% commission in the first month.

It offers charts, top holder statistics, advanced filters, social activity, and other features for regular Pump.fun users.

In September, amid a decline in the platform’s popularity, the total amount of fees paid on the Solana network fell to a six-month low.

Previously, experts recorded 2 million meme tokens issued on Pump.fun. However, only 89 of them (0.0045%) had a capitalization of more than $1 million.
