On February 16, the Rabby Wallet team from DeBank reported the emergence of a counterfeit version of their wallet in the App Store.

The fake app is named Rabby Wallet & Crypto Solution, with Solution Development listed as the developer. According to the statement, the company’s official extension is still under review on the platform.
A relevant post was created on the Apple forum, reporting the issue. A user with the nickname manolodf stated that the fraudulent app had been publicly available for more than four days. By the time of writing, the counterfeit had already been removed.
A publication on Reddit mentioned that the fake wallet had positive reviews from bots, and all fraud warnings were deleted.
Several users complained in the official Rabby Wallet Discord channel about losing funds after downloading the scam app. One victim reported losing over $100,000.

“I just lost 10% of my portfolio due to a fake Rabby Wallet app in the Apple store,” wrote another user on X.
NFT collector bthemouth stated that his wallets were emptied by the fake app after it imported his seed phrase.

The user shared an address, allegedly belonging to the hacker, which contains about 14 ETH (~$40,700). Other victims of the fake wallet were found in the comments of the publication.
This is not the first instance of a fake Rabby app appearing in the App Store. The project team warned of imitators in October and December 2023.
In November, a fake Ledger Live wallet appeared in the Microsoft Store. According to on-chain analyst ZachXBT, the perpetrators managed to steal about $768,000 in various cryptocurrencies.
