Raoul Pal forecasts cryptocurrency market capitalization to reach $300 trillion

Raoul Pal, a former Goldman Sachs top executive and macro investor, projected that the market capitalization of digital assets could reach $300 trillion in the next 10–15 years.

According to him, the market capitalization of almost all financial markets sits between $200 trillion and $300 trillion. Pal believes that in the future cryptocurrencies will also reach this level as part of the “fastest and most expansive growth” in history.

The expert’s forecast is based on the activity around the digital-asset industry and Web3. Pal also noted venture-capital inflows of about $60 billion over the past 18 months.

He is confident that the market capitalization of cryptocurrencies will take off after macroeconomic shocks subside. In the next 6–12 months, the crypto industry is expected to see many new products.

Earlier, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood forecasted growth in Bitcoin’s market capitalization to $4.5 trillion.

Most MLIV Pulse respondents in crypto say that by the end of 2022 digital gold will trade in the range of $17,600–$25,000.

Back in September, Bitcoin maximalist and MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor forecasted a new all-time high for the price of the leading cryptocurrency within the next four years.

In October, trader and analyst Michaël van de Poppe predicted a rise in digital gold to the $30,000 level in November.
