Reddit’s collectible-avatar owners near 10 million

Reddit users have created more than 13.7 million collectible avatars.

The total audience for the limited edition collection, at the time of writing, stood at 9.9 million. Of them, 7.65 million users own only a single collectible avatar.

The project’s valuation stands at $38.5 million.

\n\n

The platform announced collectible avatars on the Polygon blockchain in July 2022. Reddit does not identify them as NFT and only fiat is accepted.

By December, the number of user-created collectible avatars had approached 4.5 million.

\n\n

Earlier in February 2023, Reddit user said that he was almost kicked out of his family due to a crypto-trading addiction. Over the year he lost $50,000 of savings trading digital assets and began taking out loans.
