
Revolut doubles its list of supported cryptocurrencies
The British fintech startup Revolut has added support for 11 additional cryptocurrencies in its banking app, bringing the total to 21.

According to the statement, customers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom can purchase Cardano (ADA), Uniswap (UNI), Synthetix (SNX), Yearn Finance (YFI), UMA (UMA), Bancor (BNT), Filecoin (FIL), Numeraire (NMR), Loopring (LRC), Orchid (OXT) and The Graph (GRT).
The company said it expanded the list of supported cryptocurrencies in response to user demand.
The project said it does not plan to stop there.

In the blog, the team described 2021 as the year of cryptocurrency.
Through the Revolut app, users can also convert fiat money into Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM), EOS, OMG Network (OMG), 0x (ZRX) and Tezos (XTZ).
In October 2020, the startup expressed interest in obtaining banking license in the USA. In January this year, Revolut received a a temporary crypto registration with the FCA from the British regulator to operate with cryptocurrency.
