Russian woman loses over 850,000 rubles in a Bitcoin purchase via messaging app
Unknown individuals обманули a resident of Norilsk, offering to buy her Bitcoin for 856,000 rubles.
The victim spoke with the ‘cryptocurrency seller’ via a messaging app. He convinced her that the sustained rise in Bitcoin makes such an investment highly profitable.

The Norilsk police have opened a criminal investigation into fraud, with up to six years in prison for those found guilty.

A doctor from Saint Petersburg lost 800,000 rubles on investments in the BTC GENERATION platform.
