
Samsung unveils smart TVs with NFT buying and selling capabilities.
South Korean conglomerate Samsung Electronics unveiled new 2022 smart TV models with an “intuitively understandable built-in platform for searching, buying and selling digital artworks”.

The models in question are MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame. The app supports several NFT marketplaces — details were not disclosed by the company.
Using Smart Calibration, users will be able to adjust the TV’s settings so that the non-fungible token is rendered in accordance with its specifications.
In addition to integrating NFTs into its products, Samsung invests in metaverse-sector projects. On December 29, the South Korean tech giant, through its venture arm, participated in a Series A round of the gaming platform Ready Player Me.

Earlier, the company added cryptocurrency-wallet support for the Samsung Blockchain Wallet to most Galaxy devices.
