Scale AI has successfully closed a Series F funding round, raising $1 billion. Investors have valued the AI startup at $13.8 billion.

The round was led by venture firm Accel. Other investors include Y Combinator, NVIDIA, Tiger Global Management, Cisco Investments, Intel Capital, Amazon, Meta, and others.
Scale AI develops training tools for neural networks and artificial intelligence, collaborating with both the public and private sectors.
“Our mission is to build the data infrastructure for AI, and with today’s funding, we are moving to the next stage of this journey,” the statement reads.
In April, media reported that Elon Musk’s xAI raised $6 billion with a preliminary valuation of $18 billion.
That same month, Meta announced plans to increase investments in the field of artificial intelligence.
