Scroll developers launch mainnet for its L2 solution

The Scroll team launched its namesake mainnet built on ZK—Rollups without an official notification. On-chain data indicate this.

According toDune Analytics, in just over four days since then, 354 ETH ($548 000) have been transferred to Ethereum L2-solutions. The minimum amount is 0.0035 ETH (~$5).

Users can add support for the network to wallets and transfer funds from other Ethereum-based networks to zkEVM via third-party bridges such as Owlto Finance.

According to the dashboard, in the specified period 504 unique users executed 898 transactions, spending 1.87 ETH.

Some dapps have also begun integrating with Scroll. Currently, users have four DEX to choose from.

According to DeFi Llama, TVL of the project reached $146 000.

The Scroll network was launched in 2021 with the aim of scaling Ethereum to one billion users.

In late February, the project team launched its zkEVM on the Goerli testnet, exiting the alpha-testing phase.

Over the past two years, around 60 developers have worked on Scroll.

In March, the project raised $50 million at a valuation of $1.8 billion.
