Seven million rubles stolen during a cryptocurrency sale in Moscow

A victim reported to the Moscow police a theft of 7 million rubles during a cryptocurrency sale, according to «Москва», citing sources in law enforcement.

The deal was to take place at a restaurant in the Presnensky District. During negotiations, the claimant handed over the money to the perpetrator, who left the venue allegedly to count the funds and fled with them.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier in February, a financier from Moscow had nearly 15 million rubles stolen during a Bitcoin purchase.
