Shaquille O’Neal to release NFT collection with Ethernity Chain

Four-time NBA champion, television host and entrepreneur Shaquille O’Neal will release a collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in partnership with Ethernity Chain, according to CoinDesk.

The Shaquille O’Neal: The Eras of Dominance Collection will go on sale on October 15. It consists of five distinct NFTs depicting the three cities where the athlete played — Los Angeles, Orlando and Miami.

In April 2021, football star Pelé announced that will release a non-fungible token on the Ethernity Chain platform.

Earlier in July, professional boxer Tyson Fury sold an NFT for $987 000. The sale took place on the HoDooi marketplace.
