Shiba Inu Team Partners with Fast-Food Chain Welly’s

The Shiba Inu project has signed a partnership agreement with the fast-food restaurant Welly’s from the Italian city of Naples. This was disclosed by the developer under the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama.

Welly’s has undergone a rebranding — the logo now features a Shiba Inu dog, the packaging has become more eco-friendly, and the menu, marketing and strategy have been aligned with the spirit of Shibu.

The partnership marks Shiba Inu’s first step into IRL (in real life) projects. The meme token team is discussing the possibility of scaling this initiative.

Welly’s is expected to use SHIB as a payment method. According to Kusama, in the future the fast-food chain may begin accepting payments in Dogecoin. He also noted that the developers plan to implement on the blockchain a feature to track the supply chains of burger ingredients.

Earlier in January, Elon Musk announced the launch of Tesla merchandise for Dogecoin.
