Solana token price tops $100
On Monday, August 30, the native token of the Solana project (SOL) was trading at around $102. In the last 24 hours, the asset rose 4.4%, according to CoinGecko.

As of writing, SOL trades at around $98. The token ranks eighth among the leading cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, with a market cap of $28.5 billion.
On August 16, SOL reached a new high above $60 and entered the top-10 crypto assets by market capitalization.
In June, the Solana Labs blockchain developer raised $314 million in a private token sale. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Polychain Capital with participation from Alameda Research, CMS Holdings and others.
