The Solana Mobile team has introduced a new version of their Web3 smartphone, named Solana Seeker (formerly Chapter 2), developed in collaboration with the Solflare wallet.

Pre-orders for the device have already surpassed 140,000 across 57 countries.
Like its predecessor, the Solana Seeker is equipped with the Seed Vault wallet. The device also features the ability to create an AI agent and has optimized the Solana Mobile Dapp Store.
Each smartphone comes with a unique soulbound token, Seeker Genesis, which grants access to third-party rewards, offers, and content throughout the Solana ecosystem.
Until September 21, the device is priced at $450 with a discount. Afterward, it will cost $500.
The smartphone is expected to be available for sale in mid-2025.
The initial Saga model did not initially generate much excitement among users, but the situation changed following the distribution of the Bonk token at the end of 2023, leading to a shortage of the gadget.
In April 2024, an airdrop of meme tokens Cat in a Dogs World and Maneki offset the cost of pre-ordering the second smartphone model.
Previously, CertiK analysts identified a critical vulnerability in Saga that could allow the theft of user cryptocurrencies. However, developers have denied any security threat to smartphone owners.
