SPB Exchange gains DFA issuer status

The Bank of Russia entered SPB Exchange into the register of operators of information systems for the issuance of digital financial assets (DFA).

Under existing law, the DFAs issued by the platform must be traded exclusively on it. Accordingly, the platform will need to separate exchange operations from token trading.

Licences to issue DFAs in Russia are also held by Atomyze, «LightHouse», Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, «Masterchain», Eurofinance Mosnarbank and «Tokeon».

Earlier, on June 16, the Masterchain blockchain platform carried out its first DFA placement worth 15 billion rubles.
