The Mysten Labs team announced numerous partnerships with game developers to launch Web3-games on the first-layer Sui Network blockchain.
Starting May 15, new projects will be added to the network weekly. Among the debut games are: Project Eluune, Final Stardust and Run Legends.
The library will be expanded through July 11. The main project will be The Walking Dead from the Orange Comet team — a game based on the TV series and comics The Walking Dead.
Sui has signed deals with more than 30 game companies. Many partners expressed confidence in the network’s capabilities and described it as the “gaming future”.
In an interview with GamesBeat the CEO of Mysten Labs Evan Cheng explained that, thanks to the partnerships, users will gain instant access to a gaming ecosystem and an expanding library of projects.
“We and our partners really enjoyed creating games on the safe, scalable, and easy-to-use Sui infrastructure, and we look forward to continuing to release cutting-edge network entertainment,” Cheng said.
The Mysten Labs CEO also noted that most of the company’s partners are experienced developers who founded their own independent studios.
Earlier in May, the Sui carried out a successful mainnet launch of the blockchain. On the same day, the cryptocurrency exchange Binance listed the native token SUI.
