The firm expects that the domain will significantly increase internet traffic and brand recognition for future projects.
At the time of writing, SushiSwap had already activated a new site, but all apps still run on sushiswap.fi, to which a redirect is made. The protocol also uses sushiswapclassic.org.
Future Fund did not disclose the purchase price. The Category Defining platform is offering the domain name for $1.9 million.
Data: Category Defining.
The domain was registered on February 17, 1999.
