The New York Times puts up for sale its NFT column as an NFT
The New York Times journalist Kevin Roose has put up for sale his new column about non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the form of an NFT.
As of writing, seven hours remained until the end of the auction on the marketplace Foundation. The highest bid was 21 ETH (about $33,600 at the time of writing). The author of the NFT plans to donate the proceeds to charity.
Roose tweeted that he stepped out for dinner, and in the meantime someone bid more for the NFT than his car was worth.
I logged off for dinner and came back and the bid had jumped to 21 ETH (roughly $33,000). This NFT is now worth significantly more than my car. https://t.co/xgCfsFj67C
