Police in the Irkutsk region detained three local residents suspected of stealing cryptocurrency mining equipment.
According to местные СМИ citing the МВД, a businessman installed a mining farm in a bathhouse. Having sneaked in there at night, the thieves stole equipment worth more than 600,000 rubles.
The suspects have been detained, and a criminal case for theft has been opened.
Earlier, a resident of Arkhangelsk lost more than 8 million rubles when buying mining rigs.
