Tone Vays forecasts Bitcoin to reach $100,000 in 2023.

Bitcoin prices are expected to reach $100,000 next year amid the approaching halving. This was stated by the well-known trader Tone Vays in an interview with Kitco.

He also warned of the possibility that the price of digital gold could fall to $14,000 before the bull market.

According to Vays, the growth drivers could be capital flows from Europe to the US and the fear of missing out (FOMO).

“They missed their chance to catch the bottom in 2018. This is another opportunity. If Bitcoin ever falls below $10,000, investors will immediately take advantage of it,” the trader explained.

He also noted Bitcoin’s decentralisation and resilience to censorship. According to Vays, these characteristics will drive mass adoption of the asset.

“We are seeing governments, central banks and ordinary banks freeze accounts. This year alone we have witnessed the West and the United States confiscating funds from people because of their Russian passports,” he said.

Earlier, bitcoin maximalist and MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor foretold a new all-time high for the price of the leading cryptocurrency in the next four years.

In October, investor and Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary said that the price of digital gold would resume its rise after the passage of a bill regulating stablecoins.

In the same month, Galaxy Digital founder Mike Novogratz conceded that the bear market could continue for another six months.
