Transak service integrated into 1inch Wallet to buy crypto with fiat
The DeFi project 1inch Network has integrated the Transak fiat-on-ramp service into the 1inch Wallet, ForkLog reported.
“Adding Transak as another fiat-on-ramp gateway provider will give users a wider choice of networks and tokens that can be purchased with traditional currency,” said 1inch co-founder Sergey Kunts.
He added that the Transak integration is part of 1inch Network’s broader strategy to connect more such providers to the wallet. In his words, the project will eventually become “an aggregator of fiat gateways.”
In late March 2022, the 1inch team launched mobile wallet for Android devices. The app for the iOS operating system was released in April last year.
Earlier in May 2021, 1inch signed a partnership with the Mercuryo payments network and opened the sale of DeFi assets for fiat money.
