U.S. President Donald Trump is set to host two cryptocurrency events in May: one for affluent political sponsors and another for TRUMP meme coin holders, according to CNBC.
The “Dinner for Innovators in Cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence,” priced at $1.5 million per seat, took place on May 5 with the participation of David Sacks, Trump’s special advisor on AI and cryptocurrencies and head of the Digital Asset Markets Task Force. The event was organized by MAGA Inc.
The second dinner is scheduled for May 22 and will be available exclusively to TRUMP holders—220 of the largest holders will receive invitations.
At the time of writing, TRUMP is trading at $10.98, having plummeted 21.6% over the week.
Back in April, the Senate described Trump’s gala dinner for TRUMP holders as “surpassing all previous grounds for impeachment.”
Later, Trump stated that he does not profit from the meme coin and “does not follow it.”
